Biography:
Mahesh Rai is a Singapore-based advocate who represents clients in complex cross-border litigation and arbitration. He also regularly represents indigent accused persons on a pro-bono basis before the Singapore courts. He was recently appointed Young Amicus Curiaeby the Supreme Court in 2013/2014 to assist the High Court in criminal cases. Mahesh is admitted as a Civil Party Lawyer at the ECCC. He has a BSc (Hons) in Politics & Int’l Relations (University of London), an LLB (Hons) (National University of Singapore), and an LL.M. (University College London). Whilst completing his LLM, Mahesh was part of the team that placed second globally in the Philip C Jessup Moot Court Competition. Mahesh is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore, an Attorney of the State of New York, and a member of the Rolls of Solicitors of England and Wales.
